Ways to Join MLSOK:
Participant:
A Participant is the broker of record for the company or an appointed branch broker designated by the managing broker, or an individual who is licensed or certified by the appropriate state regulatory agency to engage in the appraisal of real property.
Participants have MLS administrative authority over their office and are responsible for ensuring Subscriber compliance with MLSOK rules, as well as meeting all financial obligations.
Subscriber:
A Subscriber is a real estate licensee or licensed/certified appraiser who is affiliated with an MLSOK Participant
Subscribers have MLS access for listing and searching properties but do not have administrative privileges like Participants.
Licensed Assistant:
A Licensed Assistant is a licensed real estate professional who provides administrative support to brokers and companies other than the brokerage where their license is held.
This role allows them to assist multiple offices while remaining under the supervision of their primary broker.
Licensed Assistants have limited MLS access for data entry and office support and may only perform licensed real estate activities under the supervision of their primary broker.
Unlicensed Assistant:
An Unlicensed Assistant is an individual who supports a Participant or Subscriber with administrative tasks.
They have limited MLS access for data entry and office support but cannot perform any licensed real estate activities.
